I am addicted to Hallmark Channel movies, especially around Christmas time. It can be a curse because I get sucked in, and then before I know it, hours have gone by.
The husband rolls his eyes at me as he one, finds the movies rather cheezy and predictable, and two, he gets annoyed that they rotate the same actors.
So while he watches his own shows such as Spanish telenovelas (and he makes fun of me?), or the body part spewing action of Fauda and other espionage/gangsters shows, I bask in the glory of happily ever after.
But the honest truth is that my love of Hallmark stories is directly tied to the work I do in the world. It is where I find inspiration, and can witness the beautiful transformation of when people do indeed, start to follow their hearts.
My clients come to me for several reasons…
- they are stuck and don’t know how to get unstuck
- are confused as to why they are experiencing the struggle(s) they are
- they feel broken, unworthy and lack confidence
- are experiencing health issues or unexplained anxiety and want to know how to heal
But my favorite (and the most popular) service I offer, is teaching people who they are at soul-level, their purpose, superpowers, and the essence of their “zone of genius”. And then helping them tweak what they are doing to be more in alignment both personally and professionally.
ALIGNMENT = more joy, love, peace, money, fulfillment, etc.
Good reasons to create more ease and flow, yes?
If you think about the overall message of almost EVERY Hallmark channel movie it has to do with recognizing a greater purpose or stepping into a TRUE desire versus being just OK with the status quo.
The movies are about following the heart (aka spirit, intuition, or soul-voice) for greater fulfillment and joy either in their personal or professional life.
And as someone who wants to have it all – good health, plenty of wealth, and a lot of love – I recognize the importance of not settling and really honoring my inner-voice and who I am at soul-level.
It takes looking at things in a different way, or totally doing something out of your comfort zone, to have that special A-HA moment where you realize what you had just isn’t good enough, nor is it what you really want.
As we embark into the new year, I challenge you to take inventory of where you are just settling and what it is that you truly desire.
What areas in your life are you experiencing a lot of turmoil?
What are you ready to shift or get rid of so that you can get more of what inspires you?
Well, guess what… you are a Divine Being, and can make anything you want to come to fruition. Does is take awareness and effort? Yes. Does it take more DO-ING over “meditating on it”? Yes.
But it does NOT necessarily have to be HARD.
You were not created to struggle!
So give yourself permission to do what needs to be done to free and truly follow your heart’s desire in this new year.
