…could make a HUGE difference in how much money I have in the bank.
I belong to a book club, that is way more than a book club. More like book club on steroids.
This round we are reading “Money – A Love Story” by Kate Northrup.
(**BTW, we just started so if you are local to the Miami Beach, North Miami, or Aventura area and want to hop on a transformational ride, shoot me an email.**)
What I love about this group is that no matter how much I think I know, someone always asks a question or brings up something that calls me out on my BS or gives me an ah-ha moment.
This week, I realized that when I spend money on myself, I never say “I” deserve this. Or “I am” worth it.
Rather, my inner dialogue says “this is” worth it.
THIS IS versus I AM.
One honors a “thing”. The other honors myself.
Damn. Just when I thought I had this self-worth thing figured out.
If I can’t see myself as worthy of attracting money, or spending money on ME, I will never get the big bucks in my bank account.
I am essentially telling money that I don’t deserve it. Double damn.
This blog post is to the point. Do you believe you are worth it? Or are you telling yourself quite the opposite?
What comes up for you when you think about the last time you invested in or spent money on yourself?
Really listen to what you get. Your language could totally make a difference in how much money you have in the bank!
