Privacy Policy

Effective date: 07/2020

At Lore Goldstein (loregoldstein.com), the official website for Soul Wisdom Enterprises LLC, we take privacy seriously and do our part to protect your personal data.

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. We encrypt all data processed and collected through our website.

Cookies

We use cookies to help us provide a better user experience. You may choose to disable cookies using the tools in your browser; however, by doing so you may not be able to take advantage of all of the functions of our website.

Necessary Cookies

We use several cookies for security and optimization. These necessary cookies cannot be rejected.

We use Cloudflare, a content delivery network (CDN), to encrypt, improve security of our website, and identify trusted traffic.

Acuity Scheduling, our scheduling service, requires cookies to optimize search results provided by the script, improve load balancing, and to preserve current user session.

Data We Collect

Visitor Data

When you visit and browse our websites, your activity will be tracked by Google Analytics using a cookie. Your IP (Internet protocol) address will remain anonymous, so the data cannot be linked back to you. We also disable "data sharing". The data collected includes your general location, your age group, your gender, your device type, your web browser type, and general topics of interest identified by Google. We use this data to improve user experience on our website.

We also use Facebook Pixels, which requires a cookie, to collect similar information about you as Google Analytics. This data allows us to track the success of our online marketing through Facebook and retarget visitors of interest. You can reject the Facebook Pixel cookie at anytime by not accepting or revoking our cookie consent at the bottom of the website.

We built our website on SquareSpace and use a host of services from the creators of SquareSpace.

Client Data

When you schedule a complimentary consultation, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, phone number, and email address, your birthday, and the city where you were born. This information is sent to our secure scheduling provider, Acuity Scheduling. This data may also be sent to us via email and stored on server hosted by SquareSpace and stored with our email client. We may keep this information indefinitely for future reference and correspondence with you.

Course Participant Data

When you register for one of the courses provided through our website, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name and email address. Our trusted course and mailing list provided, SquareSpace, collects and stores this data. When you submit this data, you also consent to us sending communication to you related to the course. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe from these course lists at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of any email messages you receive from us as a subscriber.

Comment Data

When you leave a comment on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Some comments may be reviewed for spam by an automated system.

Contact Data

When you fill out a contact form on one of our websites, we collect your name and email address. Your data and message will be stored both in a database on our secure server hosted by InMotion Hosting as well as in our email client and in SquareSpace. We will only use this information to contact you regarding the specific reason you filled out our contact form. We may retain your data and emails indefinitely for future reference.

Data We Share

We do not share or sell your data with third-parties without your express consent.

Legal Purposes

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Use.

Third-Party Services

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers have their own privacy policies. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which these providers will handle your personal information.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

WordPress Third-Party Services

We do use some WordPress plugins on this website that may pass data, including personal information, to external servers to process, such as Akismet Anti-Spam or Jetpack. We only use WordPress plugins that are hosted by WordPress.org, which clearly prohibits tracking of users without their explicit consent.

Embedded Content

In addition to Acuity Scheduling, we also embed YouTube videos. These scripts do not set cookies or collect data about you.

Your Data Once You Leave

We may link to other websites that will direct you away from our websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Once you leave our websites or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Use.
